Crunch time

We list our house tomorrow! Yay! This is the first time we are selling a house. There is so much to do and so little time. We have to sell this place by the time we move in July. I'm feeling the stress now. We are hanging in there though.

Ok, as promised, some photos of our trip to Disneyland. This was the first time the kids have been there. My mom treated us to the day along with my sister and cousin. It was soooo nice to have so many people come with us to help with the kids. The only downfall to having such a large party were the potty breaks. We spent like 10-15 minutes each time we stopped to used the restrooms!

We really had a great time. It was so nice to escape in the Magic Kingdom. Everything was so spotless and nice. The flowers were blooming, including the gorgeous trees and the weather was perfect.

To our surprise, they boys loved the rides. They went on the Dumbo ride, the teacups, It's a Small World (which was my favorite), the Pooh ride, Autopia (that was a blast), the carousel, the train, and everyone but David and I went on the jungle cruise. Noelle and Crystal went on the Pirates of the Caribbean without the rest of us. That was the only one we really split up on. We ended up staying from 10 AM to 10 PM. It was a very long day, but so worth it. I'm so glad we got to go with the before we left California!

OK folks, break's over

I'm back! Took a little blogging break to reconnect with our house. The good news is, I now have new mirrored closet doors, a new shower door and fixtures, the walls have been repaired, new landscaping in the front yard, a new front door handle, a newly stained deck, and a new iMac computer! We got most of the projects on our list done and then experienced a total computer breakdown. Yep, the dreaded crash. We were able to salvage our old files, but we had to get a new machine. Mark decided on a Mac. He was so fed up with our PC. We took the plunge and now we are climbing the learning curve to figure out how to use this thing. So far, we have gotten back most of our computer enhanced life with just a few glitches left to work on.

OK, the bad news, we found out we couldn't refinish our floors. They are not solid hardwood so therefore not sandable. So, we will leave them as is and let the new homeowner decide what to do with them. We have also decided that we don't have the time or the money to repaint our house. Our trim color is dark green and we wanted to change it to white. Apparently it would take about 3 coats of paint to accomplish this, so we decided against it. We also have a lawn/sprinkler issue in the back yard that is close to being resolved. Mark just has to find the time to work on it. In the mean time, I have a small mud pit in the backyard that the kids absolutely loved playing in. I also have a formerly white shirt worn by Luke that is not happy. It's currently soaking in a mixture of water, Shout, and OxyClean.

I promise to post to this blog a lot more this month. I have some layouts to share that I did for my new design team, Prism Papers. They make the most awesome cardstock and I have been having a fun time designing pages with it. Oh, we also went to Disneyland for the first time with the kids. I will have photos of that fun trip later on too!

I'll leave you with a shot of Luke in the mud pit:
